Gas Prices Slip Lower Over the Weekend

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded slipped a penny over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the current national average is $2.85 per gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $2.95, down a penny from Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, drivers are paying an average of $2.84 a gallon, two cents higher than Friday. Oklahoma drivers continue to enjoy the lowest prices nationwide, with a statewide average of $2.39 per gallon, up a penny from Friday. Drivers in California are paying the highest at $4.17 a gallon, a penny lower than Friday.
