(Undated) — The Better Business Bureau wants to ensure Americans have the tools they need to avoid tax scams. BBB Investigator, Don O’Brien, warns that scammers typically use two different methods for such scams.
This comes on the heels of the Internal Revenue Service reporting that Americans lost over $4 billion to tax scams in 2025. The BBB encourages those who encounter a scam to report it on BBB.org.
