According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is inching ever closer to the $4-a-gallon mark, currently hovering around $3.93 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average remains above $4 a gallon, hovering around $4.17. Drivers in Indiana are paying a statewide average of $3.81 a gallon. Oklahoma continues to have the lowest prices in the nation with a statewide average of $3.21 a gallon. California drivers are paying the highest with a statewide average of $5.75 a gallon.
