(Undated) — It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year, “pothole season.” The Illinois Department of Transportation is working around the clock to fill the holes. IDOT spokesman, Paul Wappel, says crews are out patching.
For those encountering crews filling potholes, Wappel says drivers should slow down and move to the other lane.
To report a pothole on an interstate or state highway, Wappel says drivers are encouraged to call 1-800-452-4368 or visit IDOT.illinois.gov.
