Brabender Led The Statesmen to 15-14 Win Over Mt. Carmel

(Undated) — Bryce Brabender drove in six runs on three hits to lead the LTC Statesmen past Wabash Valley College 15-14 yesterday. Brabender hit a grand slam in the second inning, scoring four runs, and singled in the sixth inning, scoring one. Lucas Davids pitched five innings in relief for the Statesmen, giving up seven hits and seven runs while striking out four and walking five. Jackson Frasure led things off on the mound for LTC, surrendering four hits and five runs over three innings, striking out two and walking four. The Statesmen improve to 16-21 on the season and are set to be back in action this afternoon for a doubleheader on the road at Wabash Valley College.
