CMH Continues Work on Newton Clinic Project

(Undated) — Crawford Memorial Hospital is continuing the process of adding a CMH clinic in Newton. CMH CEO, Doug Florkowski, says the expansion into Newton just makes sense.

Florkowski says, despite the rumors that Crawford County tax dollars are going to the project, it is being funded entirely by “operational funds.”

He says CMH has had great participation from the Newton City Council. He says that while the providers will be from CMH, they plan to hire clinic staff from the Newton community. Florkowski says it continues to be a “work in progress.”
