CCHD Seeking Public Input

(Undated) — The Crawford County Health Department is asking for the public’s input. The “Community Health Needs Assessment” survey will help identify areas of need and inform the development of a “Community Health Improvement Plan.” According to the CCHD, every five years, local health departments are required to conduct the survey and establish a plan. They say this ensures that the Crawford County Health Department is meeting the health needs of the residents of the county and meeting the requirements of the Certified Local Health Department Code. The CCHD says the end goal is to implement a plan to meet the community’s needs identified by key stakeholders, county officials, social services agencies, and the public.
