(Robinson) — The Lady Statesmen dominated SIC in a Tuesday doubleheader, rolling to a 13-1 win in game one. LTC scored 10 runs in the third inning en route to the lopsided win. Lily Hickman surrendered five hits and one run over five innings, striking out three and walking none in the mercy-shortened contest. In game two, the Lady Statesmen rolled to a 19-2 win. Lexie Jenkins drove in four runs on three hits to lead LTC. Jenkins hit a home run to center field in the fifth, scoring two, singled in the second, scoring one, and singled in the third, scoring one. Kaitlyn Kendall opened the game for LTC, giving up eight hits and two runs over five innings, striking out four and walking none in the victory. They are set to be back in action tomorrow against Rend Lake. The Lady Statesmen are 21-24 on the season.
