(Robinson) — Richland County jumped out to the early lead with a four-run first inning and never looked back en route to a 9-1 win over the RHS Maroons yesterday. Gunner Hoalt took the loss for Robinson, pitching three and two-thirds innings, surrendering six runs on eight hits, striking out four, and walking none. Isaac Hardiman went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead RHS in hits. With the loss, the Maroons fall to 8-10 on the season. They are 1-3 in the LIC. They are set to be back in action tomorrow morning for a 9 a.m. road game at Dieterich.
