Active Weather Helping Drought Conditions

(Undated) — The recent “active weather pattern” has helped the drought conditions in Illinois. According to DTN Agriculture Meteorologist, John Baranick, a corridor of active weather has helped improve the drought monitor for Illinois.

He expects some parts of the state to get another “inch of rain” as another front moves through our area today and tonight. He says additional precipitation is also likely in the middle to latter portion of next week.
