(Undated) — The Crawford County Emergency Management Agency is reminding the public to stay “weather aware.” The National Weather Service says a line of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds and a chance of isolated tornadoes is forecast to impact the area today and tonight. The CCEMA reminds the public that we are under an “Enhanced Risk” for severe weather with a 10 to 14% probability of a tornado with an intensity level between one and two, which could mean EF2 or EF3 level. They say the real threat from this storm is likely to be severe wind with 60 to 70 mph gusts. CCEMA emphasizes the importance of having several ways to receive alerts, including a NOAA Weather Radio, your cell phone, local radio, TV, and the internet. Find the CCEMA on Facebook and stay tuned to 101.7 WTYE for the latest weather updates.
