Maroons Walk Off Newton

(Robinson) — The RHS Maroons walked off the Newton Eagles 4-3 yesterday. Felix Reynolds earned the win for RHS, surrendering zero hits and zero runs over one and one-third innings, striking out two and walking none. Graysen Brown began the game for Robinson, surrendering five hits and one run over five and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking two. Robinson piled up nine hits in the game. Brayden Turner led the Maroons with two runs batted in, going 2-for-4 on the day. With the win, the Maroons improve to 10-10 on the season. They are 2-3 in the LIC and are slated to be back in action today for a road game at Altamont.
