Statesmen Take Both Games of a Doubleheader

(Robinson) — The LTC Statesmen took both games of a Thursday doubleheader over SIC. In game one, the Statesmen cruised to a 17-1 win. Jackson Frasure allowed three hits and one run over seven innings, striking out four and walking one en route to the win. In game two, Pernell Whittsett earned the win for the Statesmen, surrendering four hits and two runs over six innings, striking out seven, and walking three. The Statesmen improve to 21-24 on the season.
