Lady Maroons Roll to 6-1 Route of Mt. Carmel

(Robinson) — The RHS Lady Maroons rolled to a 6-1 route of Mt. Carmel yesterday. Leighton Boyd drove in four runs with a grand slam to center field in the 5th. Avery Strauch went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead RHS in hits. Eva Hermann earned the win for the Lady Maroons, giving up one run on three hits over seven innings, striking out eight and walking none. The Lady Maroons are set to be back in action Saturday when they host the Robinson Invitational Tournament.
