Wet Weather Forecast to Continue

(Undated) — Rainy weather looks to continue for the area through the day today. According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, thunderstorms are still possible through this evening. They say that while severe weather is not expected with any of these storms, the threat of flooding remains a concern as rain falls on already saturated ground. Here at the WTAY/WTYE studios, we recorded just over five inches of rainfall for April, nearly three inches of which fell toward the end of the month. WTAY/WTYE continues to be an official weather recording and reporting station for the National Weather Service.
