Oblong Village Board Meets Today

(Oblong) — The Oblong Village Board meets this afternoon. On the agenda, the board will get an update from Angie Catt with the Oblong Chamber, Jeff Vaughn from the Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission on grant requirements, and Patsy Foltz regarding a drainage ditch issue at 309 E. Missouri. In other business, the board will discuss and possibly approve a trio of ordinances. They will also discuss and possibly approve TIF Grant application guidelines, the application, and the appointment of a Village Treasurer. The Village will also approve advertising for a Village Clerk. The Oblong Village Board meets this afternoon at 5 p.m. in the Farley Room of the Village Hall.
