(Undated) — The IDPH is issuing a warning about mosquito and tick-borne illnesses. Illinois Department of Public Health, Director, Dr. Sameer Vohra, says it’s important to “Fight the Bite.”
He says the public needs to remember to “reduce, repel, and report.” The IDPH has created an interactive Tickborne Disease Dashboard that documents the counties in Illinois where different tick species have been confirmed, as well as the diseases they may carry. Learn more at dph.illions.gov.
