(Undated) — Summer is here which means more time outside in the sun. Crawford Memorial Hospital is reminding the public to be generous when applying sunscreen. They say most adults need about an ounce of sunscreen to cover their bodies fully. They say you should apply sunscreen to dry skin fifteen minutes before going outside and reapply an ounce, or the equivalent of a shot glass, every two hours if you are in direct sunlight. For the tenth year in a row, CMH is making sure Pelican Cove visitors stay protected. According to CMH Director of Marketing, Becky Ruppel, they are proud to continue providing free sunscreen at the pool all summer long because “healthy skin never goes out of style.”
