Crawford County residents should be on the lookout for real estate tax bills to hit their mailboxes. Crawford County Treasurer, Rikki Callaway, says her office has been working diligently to prepare and mail the “2025 payable 2026 real estate tax bills.” Taxpayers are reminded that property taxes should be paid on or before the due dates to avoid additional penalties, publication costs, certified mailing fees, and other charges.
Callaway says failure to pay delinquent taxes may result in your unpaid tax being offered at the annual tax sale. She says payments made in a timely fashion help avoid unnecessary expenses and possible sales in error situations.
The first installment will be due July 7th.
