Gas Prices Climb Slightly

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded is up slightly but remains below $4 a gallon. This morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com show a national average of $3.89, up four cents from Monday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $4.18 a gallon, five cents higher than Monday’s average. Indiana drivers are enjoying the lowest statewide average in the nation, with prices hovering around $3.27 a gallon, down five cents from Monday. California drivers are paying the highest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $5.47, down six cents from Monday.
