“Extreme Heat Warning” Continues

According to the National Weather Service, “dangerously hot” conditions with heat index values of 105 to 110 remain in the forecast. They say heat-related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. The public is reminded to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun as much as possible, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
