(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has begun ticking back up following recent declines. This morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com show a national average of $3.86 a gallon, up seven cents from last Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $4.09, seven cents higher than a week ago. Indiana drivers are enjoying the lowest statewide average in the nation. However, the price at the pump has seen a sharp jump over the last week, with prices hovering around $3.27, eighteen cents higher than last Friday. California drivers are paying the highest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $5.35 a gallon, unchanged from a week ago.
