Hot and Stormy Weather Remains in Our Forecast

(Undated) — A return to hot and humid weather is in our forecast. According to the National Weather Service, an “Extreme Heat Warning” remains in effect through 9 p.m. this evening. They say dangerously hot conditions with afternoon heat index values of 110 to 115 remain possible, which will “significantly increase the potential for heat-related illnesses,” particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities. Additionally, storm clusters will drop southeast into the area through Monday evening. These may also be strong to severe, with damaging winds the main concern.
