Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $4.21 a gallon, six cents lower than Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.48, four cents lower than Friday, making Indiana the “low price leader.” California drivers are paying the highest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $5.55, six cents lower than Friday.
