Oblong Unit 4 Board Meets Tonight

(Oblong) — The Oblong Unit 4 Board meets tonight. In “Old Business,” they will review Committee Reports, the Academic Foundation Report and policy updates, and discuss and approve substitute teachers, aids, bus drivers, cooks, and custodians. In “New Business,” they are set to discuss and approve the tentative Fiscal Year 2027 budget and set a hearing date. They’ll also discuss and possibly approve Andy Julian as non-discrimination coordinator, and Kendra Ridlen to be in charge of the District in the absence of the Superintendent. They will go into closed session to discuss personnel matters. The Unit 4 Board meets tonight at 6 p.m. in the Oblong Library.
