Late Rally Helps the Maroons Pick Up Win Over Charleston

(Robinson) — The RHS Maroons kicked off the 2026 football season with a thrilling 44-41 win over Charleston on the road last night. RHS was down by 14 at half and 10 after the 3rd quarter before outscoring Charleston 19-6 in the 4th quarter. The rally was capped off by a two-minute drive that went 80 yards and resulted in a touchdown with 11 seconds to play. Josh Crouse, Jetson Hoalt, and Maverick Deckard combined for more than three hundred yards rushing, and Hoalt finished the night with more than one hundred yards through the air. The Maroons are 1-0 on the season and will be back home in week two when they welcome Benton to Crosby Field.
