Gas Prices Slip Lower Over the Weekend

(Undated) — Gas prices have fallen over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.06 a gallon, down five cents from the end of the week. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $4.36, five cents lower than Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, the statewide average is down five cents, hovering around $3.51, making Indiana the “low price leader.” California drivers are paying the highest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $5.57 a gallon, two cents lower than Friday.
