Maroons and Panthers Fall in Friday Night Football Action

(Robinson) — The RHS Maroons fell to 1-2 on the season last night following a 29-13 loss to Mt. Carmel. The Maroons led 13-6 at the half, but the Aces scored 23 unanswered points in the second half for the win. Josh Crouse finished the night with twenty-four carries for ninety-one yards and one touchdown for Robinson. Jetson Hoalt added forty-eight yards rushing on fifteen carries for one TD and went three of five passing for sixty yards. The Maroons will hit the road next week to face the Casey-Westfield Warriors. Elsewhere last night, the Oblong Panthers fell to Metro East Lutheran 56-12. The 0-3 Panthers will welcome South Fork to Ron Welsh Field in week 4.
