Hayden Bonnell Picked Up a “Hat Trick”

(Robinson) — Hayden Bonnell picked up a “hat trick” last night as the RHS Soccer Team picked up a 9-1 win over Mt. Carmel. Head Coach, Hillary Maxwell, says the game started out slow “on both sides of the ball.” She says they started out by playing Mt.Carmel’s game and not their own, and despite being ahead at the half, the kids were not playing their best. However, she says after halftime pep talks, they went in and played the next half much more impressively, controlling the pace and looking good. Maxwell says tonight’s game was a morale booster for the Maroons. The Maroons will be back in action Thursday against Newton.
