RPD Releases Labor Day Enforcement Numbers

(Robinson) — The Robinson Police Department has released Labor Day enforcement campaign numbers. According to Robinson Police Chief, Eric Schmidt, officers made one drug arrest and issued twenty-one traffic citations. The Robinson Police Department collaborated with law enforcement agencies statewide during the Labor Day “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and the “Drive High, Get a DUI” campaigns. This effort was part of a statewide initiative funded by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
