IECC Seeking to Fill Three Trustee Seats

(Undated) — The IECC is looking to fill three Trustee seats and has announced that nomination papers for the Consolidated Election are available in the IECC District Office. They say candidates may file nomination petitions during regular business hours from November 16, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. through November 23, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at the District Office. The IECC says that, should a simultaneous lottery/lotteries be necessary, the lotteries will be scheduled for Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. The election is to be held in 2027 and will be for three Trustee positions. The Consolidated Election will be held on April 6, 2027. A Candidate’s Guide is available for inspection at the State Board of Elections’ website at elections.il.gov/Main/Publications.aspx and select “2027 Candidate’s Guide” under Election Guidelines.
