Gas Prices Slip Over the Weekend but Remain High

(Undated) — Gas prices remain high nationwide. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.27 a gallon, three cents lower than Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $4.47, also down three cents from Friday. Indiana drivers continue to see the lowest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $3.58 a gallon, down a penny from Friday. California drivers are paying the highest prices, with a statewide average of $5.95 a gallon, up three cents from Friday.
