(Robinson) — Crawford County residents who have not paid their tax bill will soon see certified letters. Crawford County Treasurer, Rikki Callaway, reminds taxpayers that her office will begin sending out certified mailers today. She says failure to pay delinquent taxes may result in your unpaid tax being offered at the annual tax sale. She says payments made in a timely fashion help avoid unnecessary expenses and possible sales in error situations. Callaway says the last day to pay to keep your name out of the paper is October 19th. She says delinquent taxes will be published October 22nd and the Tax Sale will be held November 9th.
