According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, scattered thunderstorms are forecast for today, posing a threat of heavy rainfall. They say additional thunderstorm chances persist through the end of the week, and temperatures will remain “seasonally warm” at times. Heat indices around 100 degrees south of I-72 are expected both today and tomorrow.
