(Undated) — The Crawford County Health Department is reminding parents to get their child’s car seat checked. They say having your car seat checked will help you know that you are using your child’s car seat or booster seat correctly and that you are doing the best you can to protect your precious cargo. The Crawford County Health Department will host a “Car Seat Safety Event” Saturday, September 26th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Washington Elementary School in Robinson. If you can’t make it to that event, the CCHD has four on-staff car seat-certified technicians who can make sure you’re using the right car seat for your child, teach you how to install it correctly, and ensure the seat is safe. Contact the CCHD for more information or stop by for a quick check.
