Gas Prices Remain High

(Undated) — Gas prices remain high as we head into the weekend. According to GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.49 a gallon, a nickel higher than at the beginning of the week. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $4.81, a dime lower than Monday’s average. In Indiana, the statewide average is $3.94 a gallon, nine cents lower than Monday. That also makes Indiana the cheapest place in the nation to fill up. California has the highest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $6.27 a gallon.
