Maroons Improve to 3-3 on the Season

(Undated) — The RHS Maroons moved back to .500 last night with a 19-16 win over Lawrenceville. Despite a fourth-quarter rally by the Indians, the Maroons were able to hang on for the win. With the win, they improve to 3-3 overall, 2-2 in the LIC. The Maroons will be back in action October 2nd when they welcome Newton to Crosby Field for Homecoming. Elsewhere last night, the Oblong Panthers got rolled by Pawnee 50-6 during homecoming. The Panthers fall to 0-5 and will be back in action next Friday for a county rivalry game against Palestine/Hutsonville. The Pioneers are in action this evening on the road at Martinsville. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
