(Palestine) — The Palestine Village Board of Trustees meets this afternoon. Under “Board Business,” they are set to discuss and approve a privacy fence around the DPW Building, the IDOT resolution for maintenance engineering to be performed by a consulting engineer for $ 100,000, waiving the “tap-in fee” for sewer, the Trick-or-Treat and Trunk-or-Treat times, and closing the 100 Block of East Harrison for the Alicia Bricker benefit held at Heritage Hall on October 11th. In other business, the Village Board will discuss and possibly approve hiring Revize to maintain and set up the website. The Palestine Board will also work on the reorganization of committees to include the Trustee and appoint a Mayor Pro Tem. The Palestine Village Board meets this afternoon at 5 p.m. at Village Hall.
