(Robinson) – The abuse of prescription drugs continues to rise, and the source of these drugs is often your medicine cabinet. National Drug Take Back Day is set for October 24th. The National Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. However, if you don’t want to wait until the 24th, Crawford Memorial Hospital reminds the public that it offers a drug take-back bin. CMH says the drug take-back bin is located at the entrance of the Robinson Rural Health Clinic at 1101 N. Allen Street. They say the bin provides a safe, convenient, and environmentally friendly way to dispose of unwanted, unused, and expired medications.
