(Robinson) — Crawford County residents who have not paid their tax bill are being reminded of some upcoming dates. Crawford County Treasurer, Rikki Callaway, reminds taxpayers that the last day to pay to keep your name out of the paper is October 19th. She says delinquent taxes will be published October 22nd; October 23rd is the last day for mailed payments, credit cards and personal checks; November 6th is the last day to pay your taxes before the November 9th Tax Sale. She says payments made in a timely fashion help avoid unnecessary expenses and possible sales in error situations. Callaway also says the second distribution of tax money will be available for pickup on Thursday. She says taxing bodies enrolled in the “ACH payment” will see the deposit in their accounts on Friday.
