(Undated) — The American Red Cross continues to face a major blood shortage, and it is looking for donors to help keep the nationwide blood supply strong. According to the Red Cross, all blood types are needed, but types O Positive and B Negative are in particular demand. The agency says donation is critical to making sure all patients relying on transfusions get the care they need. The Red Cross will host three upcoming drives in Crawford County. The first of which is set for October 14th at the Robinson Civic Center. You can schedule an appointment to give through the Red Cross Blood Donor App by visiting RedCrossBlood.org, or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS.
