Time Change is Set for November 1st

(Undated) — The time change will be here before we know it, and the debate over it rages on. Experts say schools and students would suffer if permanent “Daylight Saving Time” becomes reality. Sleep experts say a sunrise after 8 a.m. could be an issue for many, especially for students and educators since most schools begin earlier than that. One professor in Rutgers University’s psychology department, Jessica Hamilton, argues that “Standard Time” should be permanent instead saying, “We really need to be aligning our clocks and our bodies to the sun, which promotes our health, and making a permanent daylight saving time actually is likely to harm the health and well-being of young people and adults.” We are set to “Fall Back” this year on November 1st.
