RHS Soccer Team Fell to Salem in Regional Semifinal

(Robinson) — The RHS Soccer Team fell 1-0 to Salem last night in the Regional Semifinal. Head Coach, Hillary Maxwell, says it was a tough loss. She says the Maroons gave up the goal to Salem with about 2 minutes left in the first half. Maxwell says the kids played a good game but waited too long to get serious about the game. She says it wasn’t until the final 20 minutes that the team started to really embrace the seriousness of their situation, making attempt after attempt but they just couldn’t finish the job. Maxwell says the Maroons had a great season, finally giving the seniors the season they deserved.
