Gas Prices Continue to Fluctuate

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has fallen slightly over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.25 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average jumped eight cents from Friday to $4.88. In Indiana, the statewide average is down two cents from Friday to $3.97 a gallon. North Carolina has the lowest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $3.45 a gallon, six cents lower than Friday. California has the highest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $5.97, eight cents lower than Friday.
